JETs and ALTsEdit
As of 2014, there are 4 JETs living in Kashiwazaki. 2 are prefectural and 2 are municipal working through the Kashiwazaki Board of Education (BoE).
There are an additional 3 ALTs privately contracted by the Kashiwazaki BoE.
The Kariwa ALT is often associated with the Kashiwazaki crew because of proximity and the fact that there is only one, but that person is actually employed by the Kariwa BoE.
