Gunma Prefecture (群馬県, Gunma-ken^?) is located in the central northern part of Honshu island. Gunma Prefecture has a special holiday on October for all Elementary, Junior High and Senior High Schools. In 2010, the day falls on the 28th (a Thursday). To make up for this, Gunma misses a holiday in January.
