Materials Needed[]

A base comic with the speech removed.

Contents[]

Give the students the comic and explain what you want them to do. It is good to give them a theme so they can spend more time on the activity instead of thinking of something to do. For example, ask them to include a certain word in the script. Give different words to different students.

Tell them that they can write a draft in Japanese first so that the translation does not get in the way of the creative process. Once they have finished, show them yours and collect theirs. Perhaps during the next lesson, show some of the better ones.
