The Association for Japan Exchange and Teaching or AJET is national support and social network for JET Programme participants. Run by volunteers, it organises a range of cultural, sporting and charity events, publishes books and information (including Team Taught Pizza) and represents JETs and their concerns to CLAIR.

AJET has many chapters all across Japan, and participation rates and general level of AJET activity varies from place to place.
